CCY Board Member Bios

Mary Ellen Prindiville

Mary Ellen has lived in Woodstock for 16 years.  She decided to become involved in CCY because it is an organization that helps the youth of our community.  CCY’s approach builds personal skills that will be of value to kids throughout their lives.
She is also am a member of the Friends of Woodstock Public Library Board.

 

Ken West

Ken, wife Patti, sons Justin and Alex have been residents of Woodstock for 21 years.  During these years he has interacted with the community's youth in numerous D200 sponsored programs such as "Love to Read Week", the mentoring program, and character education.  He is most proud of his efforts with Community Connections for Youth.  Ken one of the founding members and has been an officer since its inception 6 years ago.  He looks forward to engaging every community member in the process of  "giving our youth the tools they need to succeed".

Katie L. Wagner Roberts

Katie is the 4-H Youth Development Educator for University of Illinois Extension in McHenry County.  She oversees Extension youth programming, including the 4-H program and learning enrichment materials to support teachers, home school families and youth service agencies.   Katie has been involved with CCY since shortly after its inception, and is excited about the involvement of community members, educational institutions, government entities, and Woodstock businesses coming together to promote and develop assets in our youth.

Kevin Eldridge

Kevin became involved with CCY as a founding member shortly after moving to Woodstock in 1999 with his wife and three daughters.  He was nominated by Mayor Brian Sager to serve on the City of Woodstock and District 200 Joint Advisory Committee.  He attends school board meetings and city council meetings regularly, volunteers weekly at his daughters’ schools, and in actively involved in his church.  Kevin is a speech-language pathologist who specializes in treating people who stutter and their families.
